Hubballi to Chennai Flights in Jeopardy? Union Min Joshi Steps In with Urgent Plea!
Joshi requests continuation of Hubballi to Chennai flights
New Delhi: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has drawn the attention of the Civil Aviation Minister to provide flight services from Hubballi to Ahmedabad and Chennai.
Today, Joshi met Aviation Minister Ramamohan Naidu at the Civil Aviation Ministry in New Delhi to discuss this matter.
Joshi requested that steps be taken to provide flight services between Hubballi and Ahmedabad.
Do not suspend Chennai flights: Additionally, Joshi requested that the flight connectivity from Hubballi to Chennai, which is currently under suspension, be continued.
Hubballi, also known as “Chhota Mumbai,” is a major commercial city with connections to many industrialists. Joshi mentioned that giving priority to flight services to Ahmedabad and Chennai would benefit quick travel and close connectivity for businesspersons.
Hubballi is an important commercial hub, gaining recognition at both national and international levels. Along with its railway station, the airport is also developing to international standards. Joshi pointed out these developments to Naidu.
The new terminal at the expansive Hubballi Airport is under construction. With necessary infrastructure already in place for passengers and flights, Joshi urged the Civil Aviation Minister to ensure the continuation of the flight services to Chennai during their discussion.
